You either want to forget or remember your first marathon. Mine was in October 2012 I felt nervous, anxious and terrified. It was really only the day before the race that I stared to get excited. This is what I had trained for, what was I worried about? Throw back to my first marathon memories.
I always say ‘I don’t do easy’, it’s the challenging and unsuspecting races that give me the greatest lessons and keep the fire burning in my belly. 2016 is yet another massive year and I plan to keep hold of the opportunities with both hands and see where they take me.
