Hi, I’m Amanda
Ultra Endurance Runner | Running Coach | Nutrition Advisor | Meditation Teacher
I am the head coach at Planted Life. I started my running journey as “commuter” I never set out to be an ultra-runner. Honestly, I just wanted to stop driving to work every day—so I started running instead. What began as a practical (and slightly sweaty) commute turned into something so much bigger. One fun run led to another, and by the age of 40, I found myself running my first 100km.
Believing that everyone must start somewhere, I am passionate about tapping into your inner drive and creating a supportive, self-motivating space to train, learn, and grow. I am always looking for ways to make training fun—even the tough sessions—making progress feel surprisingly rewarding and totally achievable.
My goal is to build and nurture confidence in every athlete who joins the Planted Life tribe, offering a personalised approach to training that includes strength, recovery, and whole-body support.
Running has taken me on an incredible journey, not just physically, but mentally and spiritually too. I believe movement is medicine, and when we combine it with mindful practices, plant-based living, and time in nature, we unlock something truly powerful.
I don’t see running as my identity—it’s simply one of the many ways I connect with life, with myself, and with others. It’s where I find pleasure, pain, growth, and community. I’ve learned that if you stay with it long enough, running stops being something you force, and starts becoming something that teaches you.
